I've always been fond of Carrie Bradshaw from Sex & The City and for every opening credits of the show Carrie never fails to look adorable in her pink tulle skirt. Just the other day my parents took me to Thailand for a day trip and I managed to get my hands on this lovely black knee length tulle skirt. I love how practical this skirt is! I can use it for both formal and casual wear. I'm a happy camper!

Aime moi moins mais aime moi longtemps
What I need to do over the December break is to just soak myself in with some indie music, watch a few French movies and hibernate before going back to Bruland. It's a gloomy cold Thursday today and days like these are always enlightened by a cup of hot milo.

I've got my GCSE results already and..

Just kiddinggg ツ
Alhamdulillah. A good end to summer 2010 :)
It's my last night in Vientiane for this summer and I'm leaving with my mom, maid & Iqah, to KL tomorrow. So far this summer I have:
1) Discovered new found treasures! By treasures I mean cute dainty boutiques in Udorn Thani and got myself amazing finds.
2) Fed and held a tiger cub for the first time.
3) Held a living leather... I mean a baby crocodile.
4) Broken the record and went to Thailand for more than 4 times in the past 6 weeks haha
5) Come to realize my devotion for cooking (not just making sandwiches).
Summeries:

Zirah's parents came for Sungkai one night while they were here in the city.

I ♥ my dad. I'm going to miss him. He's le coolest & not just because he's getting me a Gucci perfume.

June in summary
A lot has happened over the past few months of not posting anything here. Which clearly shows that; yes, I do have a life outside this blogging world. Even though I should be enjoying my last few weeks of summer right now but I feel the need for a little detour...
June:

Attended my very first prom! :) I'm pretty much in love with my prom dress/this year's baju raya! The original design I referred to was the blue dress worn by Carrie during Charlotte's baby shower in SATC. I decided to make my dress a two piece and the skirt is high waisted A lined. How practical is this dress? I could use it more than once and just wear a different top over the skirt.. I still don't understand why babah complained!

Invited the girls over for lunch and we baked pizza! Substituted parmesan for cheddar haha which explains why the pizza looks.. appetizing. It was really yum.
Dinner in the city
I was meant to do this post last month woops.. So, last month my favourite aunt in the whole world (forced) celebrated her 30 something birthday. I really had no idea how young she is. She refused to have her age written on her cake. The party turned out great & I kind of talked her into the whole "Sex and the City" themed dinner hehe

Joyeux Anniversarie Babu Har!
Cheeeerrrrssss

Amal.

Weekend
Miss Abyadh Iman is here and our Saturday noon was.. well content with Bobbi Brown and Cheezbox's Ultimate Chocolate. She's flying off to Singapore tomorrow and hopefully I will get to see her again in December.
I have a list of things to rant about but I'll set those aside for now.

Pretty young thing wore a LBD.
Have a lovely weekend,
A.
