Notting Hill

Lately I've been pretending that lectures, case readings and essay writings never factor into my current life since the start of the term break. And here I am back from London in my tiny cupcake sized room in Leicester attempting to study.. oh but to no avail.

So just this Monday I dragged 2 of my good friends for a rummage along Portobello Road. In all its style-savvy glory, London is home to some of the most exciting antiques dealers in the country and Portobello Road is the first pitstop for vintage suckers. I didn't choose to go there for some vintage shopping but I was craving for a preppy uniform dress up (and then it just struck me how much that preppy sensibility has permeated my wardrobe).

Look how cute your big sister is Iqah hehehe

Also dressing up like a stereotypical Cambridge student was Muizz who threw in the boat hat for good measure.

Strolling the mansion lined streets of Notting Hill & dreaming of living in a a pastel house with a glossy front door

It’s easy to dismiss Notting Hill as a cliché but its ongoing appeal is clear to see. It cheerfully lends itself as a beautiful backdrop for instagram photos hehe.. I hope you all had a wonderful December break. Happy New Years :)
xx
